Lux pistols is common name for all standard Zastava pistols with:
- specific handgrip covers (wooden with various types of protection; rubber)
- modified finish and protection of metal parts.
Modifications are done at the request of customers or they are based on the ideas of Zastava's experts.
Exclusive pistol is common name for all standard Zastava pistols with:
- carved handgrip covers, modified surface machining and finish of handgrip covers
- engraved metal parts, modified surface machining and finish of metal parts
- precious metals
Appearance of carved and engraved parts, as well as modifications of surface machining and finish, are done at the request of customers or they are based on the ideas of Zastava's experts.
Handgrip covers of standard models of pistols are made of plastic, or in some cases, oiled walnut is used.
Possible options for pistols Lux and Exclusive are:
- nuancing of walnut with natural oils, then oiling with linen oil or varnishing (with different levels of shine)
- painting of handgrip covers ( in Exclusive models, the wood is protected after carving)
Metal parts of standard models of Zastava pistols are polished (up to medium level) and then blued. Parts made of aluminium alloy are phosphatized and painted.
Possible options for Lux and Exclusive pistols are:
- polishing (with various levels of polish) or
- sand blasting.
After that, the surface is finished by:
- blueing or
- chrome painting (details or all exterior surfaces), or
- phosphatizing and painting (matte or high polish).
In Exclusive models, metal parts are finished after engraving.
All other features are identical to the features of standard models of pistols.
